Storage for home improvements
If you’ve got the builders in or you’re painting and decorating yourself a bit of extra space might help.
Keep things clean and safe
When you have building or decorating work happening it can be difficult to keep your furniture and gadgets safe and clean. The best way is to remove them from the rooms that are affected by the building work, but that can mean the rest of your home gets very crowded. It’s better to put your belongings into short term storage to ensure they stay clean and safe.
Space to work
If you have larger items of furniture in a room you’d like to renovate or decorate it might not be possible to move them into another room. This can mean everyone trying to work in a tight space. Hiring self-storage can give you a simple answer. Your furniture is safe and out of the way giving everyone room to work. It’s easier to work if you have more room, and if you’re decorating it ensures that you can reach all of the skirting boards. There’s nothing worse after you’ve finished than moving your furniture around and finding you’ve missed a bit!
Be flexible
If your builders are a bit behind schedule they might not be ready for the kitchen cabinets, new bathroom or white goods that you’ve ordered. It’s not a problem if you have hired a self-storage unit, you can store them safely until they’re ready. It’ll stop things from getting broken before they’re fitted properly.
