2.2  You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking through the Website.

2.3  You are responsible for keeping any login details or account credentials you create on the Website confidential, and for all activity carried out under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Website, you must not:

  • use it in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server it is hosted on, or any connected system or database;
  • introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;

  • use the Website to transmit unsolicited advertising or promotional material.

We may report a breach of this Clause to the relevant law enforcement authorities and cooperate with them by disclosing your identity where required.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1  Unless otherwise indicated, we own or hold a licence to use all intellectual property rights in the Website and its content, including text, images, logos, layout and design.

4.2  You may view, download and print pages from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content and you keep any copyright or proprietary notices intact. You must not otherwise reproduce, copy or distribute content from the Website for commercial purposes without our written permission.

4.3  “Mammoth Self Storage” and our logo are our trade marks. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

5. Accuracy of Content and Pricing

5.1  We take reasonable care to keep the Website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content — including unit sizes, availability, images or prices — is complete, current or error-free. Unit sizes shown are approximate; you should confirm exact requirements with us before booking.

5.2  Prices shown are reviewed periodically and may change. The price that applies to your booking is the price confirmed to you at the point we accept your order, not necessarily the price displayed on the Website at an earlier time.

5.3  If we discover a genuine pricing error on the Website after you have placed an order, we will contact you before proceeding, and you will be free to cancel.

6. Links to Other Websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, accuracy or practices of any linked website, and accessing them is at your own risk.

7. Availability of the Website

We aim to keep the Website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the Website at any time, for example for maintenance, without notice.

8. Our Liability

8.1  The Website is provided for general information. Nothing on the Website constitutes advice on which you should rely, and we exclude, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute or common law.

8.2  We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, or from reliance on any content displayed on it, except where that loss results from our negligence or breach of these Terms.

8.3  We are not liable for any loss of data, business interruption, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website.

8.4  Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your other statutory rights.

9. Cookies and Privacy

The Website uses cookies, including necessary, functional, performance and advertising cookies. When you first visit the Website you will be shown a cookie banner where you can accept all cookies or manage your preferences by category; you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link on the Website. Details of how we collect and use personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, available on the Website.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how the Website operates. The current version will always be available on this page, and the date it was last updated will be shown. Continued use of the Website after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the Website, please contact us using the details in Clause 1. We are members of the Self Storage Association UK (SSA UK), whose Membership Standard requires operators to have a customer complaints procedure in place. If we are unable to resolve your complaint directly, you may also refer it to an alternative dispute resolution provider approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, or to Trading Standards.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
