If you’ve been living in rented accommodation for a while you have probably given notice to your landlord before you go on a long-term trip. It doesn’t make sense to pay rent if you’re planning to be away for several months, or maybe a year.

Renting storage is a better option for your belongings than putting it all into your families’ lofts and garages. It’s obviously more convenient for your family to not have to look after your things, it could be better for you too. When you hire storage you’re sure your belongings will be kept in a clean and safe environment. If belongings are in the loft or shed they might be damaged by pests such as mice or moths, and may become a bit mouldy if it’s damp. If you’re lucky enough to own your home and are going to be out of the country for an extended period you might be looking to rent your home. Renting can give you a handy extra income, and whilst it’s ok to leave some of your larger items of furniture for your lodgers you probably don’t want to leave your personal possessions. Renting storage is the simple way to store anything you need to be kept safe.
